The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of vehicle perception and planning capabilities integrated into maritime autonomous systems.
- Drive the architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of safe and effective vehicle autonomy throughout the product life-cycle.
- Own customer success through the management of a multi-year software roadmap across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with external teams on interfacing requirements between diverse systems and technologies.
- Lead teams in architecting, designing, and implementing safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems.
- Perform high-impact individual contributor work across the entire perception and planning stack.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in C++ and/or Python software development.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors (radar, sonar, Lidar, cameras).
- Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of: computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, machine learning.
- Experience in a senior perception or planning role for robotic system delivery.
- Ability to act as a technical owner for a system, managing roadmaps and coordinating teams.
