We're hiring on behalf of a leading energy infrastructure company involved in the construction and modernization of substations across southwestern Germany. This role is crucial in supporting the energy transition and achieving climate protection goals. Make a significant impact on important projects in the medium, high, and extra-high voltage sectors.

The Role

• Assemble steel structures in 110kV to 380kV switchgear (air and gas-insulated).
• Install high and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting hardware such as high-voltage clamps, suspension and support insulators.
• Perform the assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable installations including cable pulling.
• Revise plan documents by marking changes.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing, preferably in construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry.
• Experience with electrical systems is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and own vehicle for travel to project sites.
• Willingness to undertake regular site assignments from Monday to Friday within southwestern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work approach.
