Job Description

Marriott is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our people-first culture in a fast-paced hotel and food service environment. In this role, you will manage recruitment and onboarding for a variety of hospitality positions, administer benefits and HRIS records, and support performance management and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with employment laws and Marriott standards while coordinating training and development programs. Partnering closely with hotel leadership, you will help drive engagement, support diversity and inclusion, and contribute to a high-performing, service-focused workforce across our property.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment for hotel and food service roles, including job postings, screening, and onboarding
  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee records in compliance with labor laws and Marriott standards
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment, leave management, and HRIS updates for associates
  • Support performance management, coaching managers on reviews, discipline, and development plans
  • Assist with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution, promoting a positive workplace
  • Organize and track required trainings, including compliance, safety, and hospitality service programs
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, scheduling needs, and staffing levels
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and engagement activities
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support leadership decision-making
  • Ensure HR practices align with Marriott culture, values, and guest service standards
