Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be part of the HR department supporting the workforce at the Kokomo Transmission Plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Kokomo, IN

Pay Range: $20-$25

Shift: Days 7am-4pm

What's the Job?

• Administer hourly employment office functions and processes, including workforce analysis and people management based on contractual obligations and policies
• Manage day-to-day employment window functions such as leave tracking, reinstatements, and employee inquiries
• Implement onboarding and orientation sessions for the hourly workforce
• Support the execution of lean manufacturing methodologies within HR practices
• Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives and managing collective bargaining agreements

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and manage multiple priorities effectively
