The Sr Director, Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic direction, design, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent while supporting the organization's business objectives. This role partners closely with senior leadership to develop innovative and competitive total rewards strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance the team member experience, and drive organizational effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.
In this you will:
- Lead the strategy, design, governance, and execution of compensation and benefits programs that support workforce planning, business objectives, and talent attraction and retention.
- Oversee job architecture, market pricing, pay structures, and annual compensation programs, including merit increases, incentive plans, bonus administration, and equity programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Develop and execute a multi-year benefits strategy encompassing healthcare, retirement, financial wellbeing, and insured benefit programs while balancing cost management and team member value.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the total rewards experience through enhanced communications, education, vendor management, technology platforms, and self-service tools.
- Utilize analytics, market trends, benchmarking data, and team member feedback to evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities, and improve Total Rewards outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing compensation, benefits, retirement, and rewards programs.
- Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership to align Total Rewards programs with organizational priorities and provide strategic recommendations.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Total Rewards organization focused on service excellence, innovation, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, Total Rewards, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams preferred.
- Deep expertise in compensation, executive compensation, incentive design, benefits strategy, and Total Rewards governance.
- Strong knowledge of market benchmarking, job architecture, pay administration, and benefits program design.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve highly complex business and organizational challenges.
- Exceptional analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence decisions across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
- This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
