COMPANY OVERVIEW
Join a growing organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technology support at a production facility. This role serves as the primary on-site IT resource, supporting end users, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring day-to-day technology operations run smoothly across the plant and distribution environment.
POSITION: IT TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: FORT WORTH ONSITE
DURATION: 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE
SHIFT: 7AM - 4PM
RATE: $26.44 - $28.84/HOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary on-site IT contact, providing front-line technical support for employees and escalating advanced issues when necessary.
• Troubleshoot user access issues including account logins, multi-factor authentication, VPN connectivity, and Windows-based system access.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain desktop applications, software updates, workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Image and provision new devices, enroll systems into device management platforms, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Install, configure, and support printers, scanners, peripherals, and other end-user hardware.
• Perform daily walkthroughs of operational areas to proactively identify and resolve technical issues affecting productivity.
• Record and manage incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
• Support hardware troubleshooting and replacement activities for monitors, docking stations, keyboards, cables, and related equipment.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, deploying, collecting, and decommissioning technology assets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for company devices and technology equipment.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support role.
• Experience supporting Windows environments, user accounts, authentication, and endpoint devices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, VPN connectivity, and device management technologies.
• Understanding of printer support, workstation imaging, software deployment, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting technical support activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting, moving, and installing IT equipment.
• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday 7AM - 4PM.
