Job description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Lead the engineering and integration organization for a division focused on mission-critical building automation and power monitoring systems.
  • Establish and maintain technical standards for hardware design, network architecture, and software templating to ensure high-quality project execution.
  • Build and mentor a team of systems and integration engineers, defining curricula and certifying technical readiness.
  • Provide senior technical oversight on large-scale, complex infrastructure programs, including design reviews and hands-on intervention for high-risk projects.
  • Represent the organization in client-facing technical strategy sessions, capability reviews, and vendor-qualification audits.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or 8+ years of hands-on controls leadership) with 10+ years of total experience in BAS/EPMS/DDC/PLC controls engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience on large-scale, mission-critical data center programs.
  • Expert knowledge of controls networking, OT protocols, industrial panel design, and mission-critical HVAC systems.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams, develop technical standards, and enforce rigorous quality control processes.
