Treasury Resolution Planning Consultant

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Treasury Resolution Planning Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week onsite.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to support Treasury-led Resolution Planning initiatives, with a focus on building out capabilities, data analytics, governance, and execution readiness.
This role sits at the intersection of Treasury and regulatory compliance, translating resolution strategy into actionable analytics, data frameworks, business rules, governance processes, and execution playbooks that support the firm's ability to execute a credible and orderly resolution.
The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Technology, and other stakeholders to strengthen resolution liquidity capabilities, improve data quality and traceability, and produce well-documented, regulator-ready deliverables.
Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain resolution liquidity projections aligned with balance sheet and financial forecasts.
• Define and document resolution liquidity stress assumptions, including runoff, funding, and asset monetization assumptions.
• Analyze liquidity adequacy and execution requirements under resolution scenarios.
• Translate resolution strategies into implementable analytical logic and business rules.
• Support entity- and business-line-level resolution treatment, including survive, divest, and wind-down strategies.
• Develop and enhance liquidity allocation and funding strategies.
• Support development and enhancement of resolution playbooks, including execution timelines, funding actions, and operational dependencies.
• Define and document Treasury governance frameworks supporting resolution execution.
• Identify and implement key risk indicators, escalation triggers, decision points, and governance processes.
• Map resolution processes to control frameworks, including ownership, attestations, testing, issue tracking, and remediation.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and alignment across resolution deliverables.
• Partner across business and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into structured data models, analytical logic, and testable business rules.
• Facilitate working sessions and manage dependencies and delivery timelines across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Support audit and regulatory readiness through evidence documentation and control traceability.
• Support preparation of Resolution Plan submissions, including 165(d) Living Will deliverables.
• Produce clear, structured, regulator-ready documentation covering assumptions, methodologies, data sources, limitations, controls, and analytical outputs.
• Ensure deliverables are defensible, consistent, traceable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Resolution Planning, liquidity/Treasury analytics, finance transformation, data modeling, or data governance.
• Strong understanding of Resolution Planning / Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) frameworks and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of liquidity stress concepts and resolution strategies.
• Experience developing or supporting liquidity projections, stress assumptions, funding strategies, and resolution execution analysis.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into structured data models, clear analytical logic, and testable business rules.
• 5+ years of experience working across business and technology teams.
• Experience writing requirements, facilitating working sessions, managing dependencies, and managing delivery timelines.
• Strong ability to produce clear, structured, and regulator-ready documentation.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with significant attention to detail and data quality.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to clearly present complex concepts and analytical logic to senior management, regulators, and audit teams.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Banking and/or Capital Markets experience.
• SQL experience for data extraction and validation.
• Coding experience.
• Experience supporting 165(d) Resolution Plans / Living Wills.
• Hands-on Treasury liquidity reporting, stress testing, cash-flow forecasting, funding analysis, or balance-sheet liquidity analysis.
• Experience developing structured, scalable Resolution Planning solutions and control frameworks.
