IT Plant Support Technician

Provide hands-on IT support in a manufacturing plant, troubleshooting technology issues affecting production and maintaining reliable local IT operations. Partner with plant stakeholders and IT colleagues, support projects across locations, and help secure and track infrastructure and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing technology issues in the production environment.
• Troubleshoot IT problems and work to minimize downtime affecting plant operations.
• Engage plant stakeholders to understand technology needs and communicate system issues and changes.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and other departments to resolve issues and support projects.
• Maintain clean, secure IDF/MDF rooms and track equipment inventory, production computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Travel to support nearby plants and larger projects as needed.
