We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Test Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining effective testing strategies across web applications and APIs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST APIs.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD testing strategies and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure testing best practices and quality standards are followed across projects.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• Expertise in API Testing using Postman and REST APIs.
• Automation testing experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Knowledge of JSON, HTTP protocols, and API validation.
• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.
• Healthcare domain experience.
• Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation framework design and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Proven experience in manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in cloud-based environments.
• Exposure to performance and security testing.
• Relevant QA certifications (ISTQB or equivalent).
