Full Stack - Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver effective solutions and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to gather, understand and document business requirements.
• Design, develop, test and document software applications in line with agreed specifications and coding standards.
• Contribute to technical solution design and identify opportunities to improve development processes.
• Estimate development effort and timelines, monitor progress and report on risks, issues and delivery outcomes.
• Identify and manage technical risks that may impact system releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Strong Java development skills with Spring and Hibernate.
• Full-stack development experience using React, HTML, jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with .NET C#, Python and R.
• Experience with SQL, DB2 and Azure Databricks.
• Knowledge of ETL tools, including SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Unix scripting, SVN, Bamboo and Crucible.
• Experience working in Agile teams using JIRA.
• Knowledge of automated testing with Cypress or similar tools.
• Relevant IT/ICT qualification or equivalent practical experience
