The Role

  • Deliver key Warship Technical Authority (WTA) service elements across platform systems.
  • Provide mechanical engineering support for diverse platform systems, equipment, and marine services.
  • Contribute engineering expertise to multiple projects, including international naval programmes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage system requirements.
  • Maintain system design integrity across varied engineering contexts and programme deployments.
  • Support investigations and impact assessments to drive evidence-based technical decisions.

What You'll Need

  • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems within UK and international markets.
  • Solid understanding of applicable industry standards and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to quickly and confidently apply mechanical engineering knowledge across multiple platform systems.
  • Formal mechanical engineering qualifications.
  • Experience within shipbuilding or naval engineering environments is advantageous.
