Job Description

Title                                       :  Lead Performance Engineer

Location                               :  New Jersey, NJ – Hybrid (Local)

Duration                              : 6 months

Position                                 : W2 Position

Rate                                        :$60/hr on W2

Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 8+

              

Detailed Job Description:

·         We are looking for a skilled Lead Performance Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with J Meter, Load runner, K6, Gatling, Data Dog, Dyna trace skills, and solid expertise in API, Web and automation testing.

·         Candidate will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

·         12+ Yrs of experience in Performance Engineering

·         Triaging Exp on network and AWS infra systems is required

·         Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache J Meter or similar tools for web, API, and backend systems

·         Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for applications and micro services

·         Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications, covering unit, integration, and E2E tests.

·         Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworks

·         Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations

·         Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, network) during test execution

·         Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application and infrastructure performance

·         Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines

·         Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders

·         Continuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and best practices
