The Role • Provide managerial and technical leadership to a team of highly skilled hardware engineers. • Oversee work package management, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunity assessment. • Ensure the engineering team effectively supports production program demands. • Maintain technical governance and ensure adherence to company processes. • Lead cost and performance trade-off analyses. What You'll Need • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams through a full product development lifecycle. • Demonstrable knowledge of cost and planning management tools, solution optimisation, and product design control. • Experience in identifying improvements to working practices and team skill development, focusing on failure reduction. • Experience with safety-critical systems and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) is desirable. • Experience with work-package management tools (e.g., MSP, JIRA) is desirable.
