.Net Programmer Analyst

• The .NET Developer will support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.

       Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access patterns. 
• Contribute to modernization of the tolling platform using microservices and modular architecture.
• Develop new application features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Participate in performance optimization efforts across application layers.
• Integrate with Azure-based components and cloud services.
• Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments.

       Required Skills

• Experience developing applications using .NET Core and C# Required 7 Years
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices. Required 7 Years
• Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments. Required 7 Years
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices. Required 7 Years
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines. Required 7 Years
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Required 7 Years
• Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools. Desired 5 Years
• Familiarity with domain-driven design and microservices. Desired 5 Years
• Experience with distributed systems or high-availability environments. Desired 5 Years
• Understanding of tolling or transportation systems (preferred but not required). Desired 5 Years
• Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks. Desired 3 Years
