Job Description

Role: Windows 365 / Windows OS Engineer
Contract Length: Contract, 3+ months with extension and posibilty to become C2H
Location: Remote - US based
Start Date: ASAP
Level: Mid to Senior
Overview
Seeking a hands-on Windows 365 and Windows OS engineer to support a fast-moving deployment and migration effort. This is a hit-the-ground-running role for someone who can work independently, execute technical work directly, and deliver results without a long ramp-up period. The client is specifically looking for a DevOps mindset, not a click ops administrator relying on manual GUI-based work.
What You''''ll Be Doing
  • Engineer and deploy Windows 365 (Cloud PC) environments from the ground up
  • Lead or support migration of users from existing desktop environments into Windows 365
  • Tune and harden Windows OS configurations for both security and performance
  • Approach deployment and configuration with automation and infrastructure-as-code principles where possible, rather than manual, click-through administration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the deployment and migration process
  • Work directly in deployment tools and consoles (Intune, Endpoint Manager, Azure/W365 admin center) to execute configuration and rollout personally, not just direct others
  • Partner with internal security and infrastructure teams to ensure deployments align with enterprise security standards
  • Document configurations, migration steps, and lessons learned for future reference
What We''''re Looking For
  • Proven, hands-on experience engineering and deploying Windows 365 (Cloud PC) environments
  • Direct experience migrating users from traditional desktop or VDI environments into W365
  • Strong background tuning Windows OS for both security hardening and performance optimization
  • DevOps mindset with experience in scripting, automation, and repeatable deployment processes, not reliant on manual console based administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Azure/M365 administration
  • Track record of delivering technical projects independently and on schedule
  • High sense of ownership and responsibility, comfortable being the go-to technical resource on this initiative
  • Detail oriented, with strong documentation and troubleshooting habits
  • Ability to start immediately and move quickly with minimal onboarding time
