We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. UI/UX Developer/Architect with strong expertise in enterprise design systems, web accessibility, and modern front-end development.

This is an exciting opportunity to support high-visibility enterprise and state projects while building accessible, reusable, scalable UI components and ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 (up to AAA) accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

Build, document, and maintain scalable enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries
Develop accessible wrapper components using HTML, SASS, and Angular
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/AAA, semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and accessibility testing standards
Develop and document reusable components using Storybook
Work with USWDS (U.S. Web Design System) or similar enterprise design systems
Conduct accessibility reviews, audits, code reviews, and UX discussions
Collaborate with and mentor development teams on accessibility and UX best practices
Support major enterprise applications and modern web platforms, including AI chatbot initiatives

Required Skills

5+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong experience building and implementing enterprise design systems
Expertise in developing reusable component libraries and high-level wrapper components
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/AAA accessibility standards
Experience with ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and accessibility testing tools
Strong hands-on experience with HTML, SASS, and Angular
Experience using Storybook for component development and documentation
Strong understanding of UX principles and accessible UI design
Experience with USWDS or similar enterprise-level design systems

Highly Desired Skills

Experience with .NET, MVC, and SQL
Understanding of backend integration in a .NET environment
Ability to collaborate effectively across front-end and backend development teams
