Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Blaze Rules Developer with 5-7 years of IT experience, including hands-on expertise in IBM ODM (Blaze Rules/Blaze Advisor) and WebSphere Liberty Profile. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting business rule applications and decision services that support enterprise business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business rules using IBM ODM / Blaze Advisor.
• Create and manage rule projects, decision tables, rule flows, business object models, and rule services.
• Deploy and manage Blaze Rules applications on WebSphere Liberty Profile.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable business rules.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP services for rule execution and integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize rule performance and application behavior.
• Support application deployments, upgrades, and migration activities.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and coding standards.

Required Technical Skills

• 5-7 years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM / Blaze Rules / Blaze Advisor.
• Strong experience in:
• Rule Authoring
• Decision Tables
• Rule Flows
• Business Object Modeling
• Rule Execution Server (RES)
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on IBM WebSphere Liberty Profile.
• Strong Java/J2EE development skills.
• Experience with:
• Spring Boot
• RESTful APIs
• XML, JSON
• Maven, Git, Jenkins
• Knowledge of SQL and databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
