The Role • Initiate and coordinate measures to address obsolescence issues. • Manage the recording and communication of obsolescence information to configuration managers. • Solicit contributions from relevant departments and develop solutions for material supply and obsolescence mitigation. • Convene the Obsolescence Management Board, documenting key decisions. • Utilize and further develop relevant software tools for obsolescence management. • Prepare and conduct internal obsolescence meetings with various stakeholders. • Monitor Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EoL) notices from manufacturers. • Develop and implement internal reporting and tracking systems for obsolescence. What You'll Need • Completed technical or business administration degree, or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience. • Strong analytical thinking, strategic approach, and a solution-oriented mindset. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. • Excellent communication, assertiveness, and teamwork skills. • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
