This position requires that the individual be proficient in design and have an attention to detail. This position is a full time Kitchen and Bath Designer position within our retail or outside sales departments.

Must be computer proficient with the desire to learn 20/20 Design software program. The right candidate must be able to correctly manually transfer data from one source to an excel spreadsheet. The individual will be able to read, evaluate, and verify, to assure accuracy, documents such as prints, requisitions, purchase orders, and catalogs for creation of sales orders, info sheets, calc. follow all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to company safety policies. Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally when they enter the showroom.

Work closely with clients to design kitchens and bathrooms. Coordinate any stock material needs or special orders with the appropriate buyers/vendors. Getting deposits on all cash special orders (minimum 50%). Confirming with accounts receivable that a charge account is in good standing before placing a special order. Adhere to relevant health/safety and company policies and procedures. Answer the phone promptly and professionally. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.

Keep current on all daily reports including special order returns, delivery and PO dates, missing deposits and OK to fills. Continue expanding product knowledge of Kitchen and Bath fixtures. Provide excellent customer service. Limited range of motion and physical activity occurring randomly for 8 or more hours per day.
