Application Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Application Developer to assist with the development of a merchant services Healthcare Payment solutions platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in payment and transaction processing. They will work closely with business partners to develop requirements, document the design, and collaborate with product owners and the architecture team for direction.
Responsibilities:

• Partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions
• Design the system with little direction or guidance
• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements
• Record and document the design for the platform
• Collaborate with Tech/Business product owners and the architecture team

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Self-starter with thought leadership
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Knowledge in the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Ruby, Rails, AWS (ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS, Dynamo DB, ElastaCache, S3, EC2), Docker, Postgresql, Redis, REST, SOAP, SAML OAUTH2, Terraform

Desired skills:

• Payments or Banking background is highly preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a team environment
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology
• Certified Java, AWS and Azure Architect is highly preferred

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
