We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at our apartment community Citigate Apartments in Jacksonville, FL.

What We Offer

  • Budgeted hourly rate is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and support fellow team members
  • Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for move-in readiness
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components involving plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, and general building systems
  • Complete service requests accurately, safely, and efficiently
  • Assist with move-in and move-out inspections as needed
  • Support vendor management and quality control efforts
  • Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced technicians when applicable
  • Maintain a safe work environment and respond to emergency maintenance requests, including scheduled on-call rotations

Qualifications

What You Have
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
  • Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
  • A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
  • Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
