Only W2
Hybrid Position - 3 Days Onsite & 2 Days Remote
Please focus on strong Python/Java developers with Financial Services/Risk, E-Trading, or Front-Office experience. Must have Python/Java, React, SQL, REST APIs, and be willing to work 3 days onsite in NJ. Please avoid generic Python profiles.
Role Overview
Locations: 525 Washington or Pennington, NJ; first 2 months at 2BP for training
Client is seeking 5 Risk Technology professionals across three key areas: Credit Risk, E-Trading, and Loan Applications. Candidates will work on business-critical technology supporting risk management, front-office trading, electronic trading, and loan automation.
The ideal candidates will be strong programmers with solid mathematical/quantitative skills and experience working closely with risk teams, quantitative traders, or front-office technology.
Key Areas
1. Credit Risk
- Develop and enhance risk calculators, risk metrics, and risk applications.
- Support credit risk technology and reporting.
- Work with Python/Java, React.js, APIs, and SQL Server.
- Experience with risk platforms such as Quartz or similar risk technology is highly desirable.
2. E-Trading
- Support front-office trading and e-trading platforms end-to-end.
- Develop systems that connect to exchanges and trading counterparties.
- Work closely with quantitative traders and trading technology teams.
- Experience with intraday/market risk and e-trading environments is a strong plus.
- C#/.NET experience is beneficial.
3. Loan Applications
- Develop and automate loan application workflows and processes.
- Strong React.js experience is important.
- Experience with APIs, application development, and automation preferred.
- Exposure to risk/financial applications is a plus.
Core Technical Skills

- AWS/Cloud — preferred, as the team is actively migrating applications to the cloud
Ideal Candidate
- Strong mathematical and analytical foundation.
- Experience in financial services/risk technology.
- Comfortable working with quantitative traders, risk professionals, and front-office teams.
- Experience building risk calculators, risk metrics, trading, e-trading, credit risk, or financial applications.
- Able to contribute across the full application lifecycle, from development through integration and production support.
