Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle WMS Functional Lead / Managing Business Applications Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and stabilization of Oracle E-Business Suite WMS and Manufacturing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Oracle Supply Chain experience, including deep hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS WMS, Inventory, Manufacturing, Mobile Supply Chain Applications, and Shipping Execution. This is a hands-on functional leadership role requiring strong client-facing communication, solution design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle EBS WMS and Manufacturing solutions.
• Analyze business and warehouse requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle solutions.
• Conduct requirements workshops and lead functional discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and roll out Oracle WMS solutions.
• Develop and maintain clear functional and technical specifications.
• Configure Oracle WMS, Inventory, Manufacturing, Shipping, and related Supply Chain modules.
• Analyze warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, reverse logistics, value-added services, task generation, and shipping execution.
• Support Mobile Supply Chain Application/RF warehouse transactions.
• Identify process and system gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Work closely with technical teams on integrations, extensions, reports, and interfaces.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Design and implement Oracle reports to improve reporting accuracy, frequency, and timeliness.
• Troubleshoot complex ERP/WMS issues and independently drive problems through resolution.
• Provide functional leadership across the WMS workstream.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, Integration, Reporting, Testing, and Project Management teams.
• Prepare solution documentation, training materials, and application administration documentation.
• Provide regular client communication and present solution options and recommendations.
• Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices while minimizing unnecessary customizations.
• Work independently and take ownership of deliverables from requirements through implementation and stabilization.
• Travel within the U.S. and internationally, including Germany and Hong Kong, for milestone events such as UAT and Go-Live.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle ERP / Supply Chain experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle WMS functional experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite WMS (on-premises).
• Strong Oracle Inventory and Supply Chain knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Oracle WMS
  • Oracle Inventory
  • Mobile Supply Chain Applications
  • Oracle Manufacturing
  • Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Engineering
  • Work in Process (WIP)
  • Costing
  • Shipping Execution
• Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, and reverse warehouse processes.
• Experience with Standard, Average, and FIFO costing.
• Knowledge of discrete manufacturing and outside processing.
• Understanding of Flow, Repetitive, and Flow Manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with back-to-back order cycles, task generation, label design, and ship confirmation.
• Minimum 5 full life-cycle Oracle WMS and/or Manufacturing implementations.
• Strong functional leadership and client-facing solution design experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for project milestones.
