job summary:

Join our team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP) under the HEITS Contract. In this position, you will maintain, configure, and expand the User Activity Monitoring (UAM) enterprise software infrastructure to safeguard vital national security assets and protect against insider threats.

responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, maintain, and upgrade enterprise User Activity Monitoring (UAM) platform solutions.
• Troubleshoot system operational issues and eliminate monitoring coverage gaps across the enterprise network.
• Collaborate directly with security analysts to establish custom data feeds, tool updates, and system configurations.
• Produce clear technical documentation for configuration baselines, system changes, and architecture updates.
• Develop training materials and assist in administering certification programs for platform users.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.

Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, or TS clearance active within the last 24 months, with SCI eligibility.

Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting and configuring User Activity Monitoring (UAM) platforms (e.g., EverFox or equivalent).

Recent hands-on technical support experience within the last 2 years.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting technical updates to leadership.

Ability to work onsite in Lorton, VA (currently 3 days/week, with potential transition to 5 days/week).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or Engineering.

8+ years of experience in IT Service Delivery Management.

Technical familiarity with High Speed Guard Platforms and DHS enterprise environments.
