DevOps Engineer HPC (High-Performance Computing)

Job Details:

Position: DevOps Engineer HPC (High-Performance Computing) Location: Remote Client: Pharmaceutical Client Type: Contract - (C2C, W2, 1099)

Required Skills & Experience
Strong Linux systems administration background
Hands-on experience with HPC job schedulers (Slurm, LSF, PBS Pro, or SGE)
Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) ideally with HPC-specific services
Containerization (Docker) and container orchestration relevant to scientific computing (Singularity/Apptainer commonly preferred over Docker in HPC/regulated environments)
Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, Perl)
Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
Parallel/distributed storage systems knowledge (Lustre, GPFS)
