Job Description

Role: Content Migration / SEO Specialist 

Location: REMOTE

Contract

  • Minimum 4 years in website content administration, CMS migration, digital content management, or technical SEO, including at least 2 years of platform-to-platform content migration.
  • Migration of web pages, PDFs, documents, news articles, agendas, calendar entries, forms, and structured content.
  • Content inventories, source-to-target mappings, migration logs, metadata mappings, document categories, and validation checklists.
  • Document repository migration with hierarchical categories, metadata, downloadable files, and search functionality.
  • URL preservation, 301 redirects, metadata migration, XML sitemaps, canonical URLs, search indexing, and technical SEO.
  • Validation of content completeness, file integrity, links, metadata, downloads, and searchability.
  • Content publication support, migration documentation, and staff training.

Preference

Candidates with prior U.S. government, state government, or federal government client experience will be given preference.
