SEO Strategist and GEO optimization

The SEO team needs a supporting senior SEO expert who can provide hands-on support across SEO research, execution, QA, and performance monitoring. This person would complement the existing team by assisting with day-to-day SEO analysis and execution needs, helping translate SEO strategy into clear requirements for Engineering and Product, and ensuring we are consistently monitoring and learning from results.

We need someone in a US time zone (PST, MST, CST, or EST) who is available for at least 20 hours/week and has strong technical, on-page, off-page and analytical SEO experience. This person should be able to independently identify opportunities, audit existing experiences, QA Engineering work, provide clear and actionable SEO recommendations, and monitor performance after launches.

Key SEO functions could include:

● Technical SEO audits and ongoing site health checks

● SEO QA of Engineering/Product projects before and after launch

● Reviewing requirements, designs, and implementations for SEO impact

● Keyword research and search-intent analysis

● Competitor and SERP research

● On-page SEO recommendations, including titles, headings, content, internal linking, and metadata

● Internal linking and site architecture analysis

● Crawlability and indexation analysis

● Monitoring Googlebot crawling and indexing trends

● Identifying ranking and traffic opportunities

● SEO analysis of new page types, templates, and site experiences

● Backlink and off-site SEO research

● Post-launch performance analysis and reporting

● Building recurring SEO dashboards/reports and identifying trends

● Supporting SEO experiments and measuring results

● Staying current on Google updates, SERP changes, and SEO best practices
