What you'll do

• Build scalable, reusable ServiceNow solutions including scripting, configuration, integrations, and customisations
• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs, refine scope and manage expectations
• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and service designers to translate requirements into prototypes and final solutions
• Ensure code / build quality and follow development standards
• Follow DevOps practices to boost efficiency and productivity
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and implement bug fixes
• Ensure platform health through regular maintenance, upgrades, and secure coding practices
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to agile delivery practices
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in software development roles
• Hands-on development on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong track record of delivering scalable and maintainable solutions
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving issues within the ServiceNow platform
• Ability to follow development standards and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• ServiceNow certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer and/or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, HRSD, or CSM are a plus

This full-time position is fixed term until October 2027 at a HEW6 Higher Education Level located in the Digital Technology Solutions department at Callaghan Campus. About our University
