SAP FICO Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the design, implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with business and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules based on business requirements.
• Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure and support Controlling (CO) processes including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, and Product Costing.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications and solutions.
• Work on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, enhancements, and production support.
• Support financial processes including period-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax-related processes.
• Integrate SAP FICO with modules such as MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Work with technical teams on reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Perform configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Support UAT, integration testing, and end-user training.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum or other project delivery methodologies as required.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Strong experience in SAP FI and CO configuration and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Cost Center Accounting
  • Profit Center Accounting
  • Internal Orders
  • Product Costing
• Strong understanding of integration between FICO and MM/SD/PP.
• Experience with SAP financial closing and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with distributed/remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP FICO certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Fiori is a plus.
• Experience with SAP interfaces, IDocs, APIs, and integration technologies is desirable.
• Experience working in global or multi-company environments is preferred.
