Duties

• Responsible for hardware/software integration to include desktop/server deployments and supporting administration.
• Manages the organizations Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) capabilities.
• Prepares and reviews network security management reports for submission to higher echelons.
• Briefs operational IT/IM problems and procedures with organization senior leaders.
• Analyzes the current information system capabilities, new requirements and top down capacity to meet current and future organization mission requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes defining and evaluating conditions and issues where organization-wide Information Mission Area resources must be coordinated to support studies and other special projects; resolving critical problems in organization-wide systems and developing techniques for use of these systems by organizational personnel; managing and conducting feasible studies for the modernization of organization automation equipment; justifying and defending Information Mission Area resource requirements at the Department of the Army Level under AR 25-2 and develop Automation Information System (AIS) security guidance procedures for the organization.
