Power Platform Developer

LPA is seeking a Power Platform Developer to help develop and improve business applications, automation, and AI solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, and have developed or experimented with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI agents.

This role will work across Microsoft technologies, including Teams, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Fabric, to connect information, applications, and business processes. Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales is a plus.

Experience

This position targets candidates with 2-4 years of professional experience developing, supporting, or enhancing business applications, automation, or Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies.

• Develop, experiment, guide and inform guidelines, and guard rails for Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI agents to improve business processes and access to information.

• Connect Microsoft platforms and business systems using Dataverse, APIs, connectors, and automation.

• Develop solutions that integrate with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.

• Work with team members and business users to understand problems and turn ideas into practical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and improve existing applications, workflows, and integrations.

• Participate in proof-of-concept projects and explore new Microsoft and AI technologies.

• Document solutions and help educate users and team members.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Familiarity with Power BI and working with business data.

• Experience developing or experimenting with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, or similar AI technologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.

• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and application integration.

• Experience with JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, or another programming language is a plus.

• Experience with MS SQL, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, or Dynamics 365 Sales is a plus.

• Power Platform or related Microsoft certifications are a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or a professional services based organization is a plus.

• Working knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM), including development, UAT/testing, production environments, scaling, and sunsetting.

• Familiarity with Power Platform Solutions and managed solution deployment, including promoting solutions from Development through UAT and Production.
