Join our client's quality assurance team as a QA Analyst III, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, accessibility, and performance of business-critical applications across a large-scale enterprise technology environment. This long-term contract position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements in Tennessee, and offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects and releases. You will collaborate closely with development, business, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging both traditional and modern testing practices-including AI-powered and accessibility testing-to drive continuous improvement in software quality and delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, testing strategies, and schedules aligned with project milestones and releases.
- Execute manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution and perform post-deployment validation.
- Leverage AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, automate regression testing, generate test cases, and enhance defect identification.
- Conduct ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility testing using automated and manual methods.
- Perform accessibility validation using tools and assistive technologies such as Axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, including screen-reader and keyboard-navigation testing.
- Facilitate UAT activities in partnership with business stakeholders and project teams.
- Produce test execution reports, defect analysis, testing metrics, and release-readiness assessments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support multiple projects and testing workstreams simultaneously.
- 3-5+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience within complex application or enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Experience with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG accessibility testing.
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools or platforms.
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as JIRA, Postman, and SQL.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and testing initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Experience working within large-scale, regulated, or enterprise technology environments is a plus.
