Job Description

Project Manager / Scrum Master

Day 1 Onsite

Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $105K/year

Role Summary
Lead Agile project delivery while serving as Scrum Master for one or more scrum teams. Responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, delivery governance, risk management, sprint execution, and continuous improvement to ensure successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer expectations are met.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming sessions.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog and align delivery with business objectives.
  • Track project progress, sprint velocity, burn down metrics, and key delivery milestones.
  • Remove impediments and dependencies impacting team productivity and sprint commitments.
  • Drive effective communication among development teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Agile best practices, Scrum principles, and governance standards are consistently followed.
  • Support release planning, sprint forecasting, resource planning, and capacity management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and high team performance.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Business Analysts, and Operations.
  • Monitor project financials, effort utilization, and resource allocation where applicable.
  • Support change management processes and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coach teams on Agile maturity, servant leadership, and continuous delivery practices.
