Job Description

Business Analyst – Agile / Azure DevOps
Location: 100% Onsite (no exceptions)
Employment Type: Full-Time / W-2 hourly without benefits

We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated Business Analyst to join a fast-paced team that has transitioned to an Agile development environment. This individual will work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements, support development efforts, create and execute test cases, and help drive projects from concept through delivery.
 
This is a hands-on BA role for someone who is comfortable taking initiative, asking questions, identifying opportunities to contribute, and working across multiple departments. We are looking for a go-getter who doesn't wait to be told what to do and thrives in an environment where BAs are involved broadly across projects and business processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a 2-week Agile sprint cycle alongside development and business teams
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories
  • Develop and execute test cases and support QA/UAT activities
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for requirements, user stories, sprint activities, and project tracking
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand business processes and identify improvements
  • Support web application development initiatives and business application projects
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Proactively identify areas where additional support or analysis is needed
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Strong experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience developing and executing test cases
  • Experience supporting web development/application projects
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to work 100% onsite

Upcoming Initiatives:

The BA will support existing reporting and time-management initiatives while also contributing to several upcoming, multi-year projects spanning multiple departments. These initiatives include new business applications, reporting solutions, and applications supporting member-related processes.
