Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Bench AMS (Validation Engineer)
Location: Dallas, TX (on-site)
About the Role
  • As a Senior Bench AMS Validation Engineer, you will lead pre- and post-silicon validation of analog and mixed-signal IP and SoCs in the lab.
  • You will work with design, test and product teams to make sure silicon meets spec across process, voltage and temperature (PVT) before it goes to production.
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute bench validation and characterization plans for AMS blocks (PLLs, ADCs/DACs, LDOs, DC-DC converters, references, SerDes and similar).
  • Build and debug lab setups with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, SMUs, signal generators, logic analyzers and evaluation boards.
  • Automate measurements and data collection with Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB or similar tools.
  • Run PVT characterization and analyze the data for margins, outliers, and spec compliance.
  • Debug silicon failures and work with design, DFT and test teams to find root causes.
  • Review schematics and bring-up boards, and help drive board and test-plan improvements.
  • Correlate bench results with simulation and ATE data.
  • Mentor junior engineers and give status updates to stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of hands-on AMS bench validation or characterization experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits and measurement techniques.
  • Expert use of lab instruments and the ability to build setups independently.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, LabVIEW or MATLAB).
