This leading European energy services provider is looking for a skilled technician to contribute to critical infrastructure projects. You will play a vital role in modernizing and developing substations, directly impacting the success of the energy transition and climate protection goals. The Role

  • Commission and test electrical components for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations up to 380kV.
  • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with expert teams.
  • Configure and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers.
  • Utilize modern testing equipment for the precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology.
  • Work closely with project management, planning, and assembly teams to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to renewable energy projects, including wind and solar parks, by ensuring grid connection.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
  • Expertise in protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear.
  • Familiarity with communication standards like IEC 60870-5-101/103/104.
  • Proficiency with configuration software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse) is advantageous.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and decision-making skills, and fluent German.
  • Valid driver's license Class B and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday) within Western Germany.
