Job Description

 

Please note that U.S. citizens are encouraged to apply for this position, as it's a Federal contract. The position does allow visa sponsorship.

 

Local to Herndon, VA preferred but will accept remote candidates. If local to Herndon, resource must be onsite 4 days per week.

 

MuleSoft Architect

Introduction:

The MuleSoft Architect/Designer works on client operations and business solutions by analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining information systems and applications. This role supports requirements definition, design, build, test, and maintenance phases, providing technical support for infrastructure and production environments. The MuleSoft Architect/Designer also recommends upgrades and improvements and monitors the impact of new products and services. This client-facing role involves presenting findings, designs, and specifications to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform
  • Provide expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, integration architecture, and API design/build based on business, technical, and connectivity requirements
  • Lead development teams and establish best practices for standardization, CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, documentation, and solution architecture
  • Conduct design walkthroughs, code reviews, and technical discussions with clients and cross-workstream teams

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • SAP integration experience
  • MuleSoft Architect Certification
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform
  • Expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, integration architecture, and API design/build based on business, technical, and connectivity requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading development teams
  • Experience establishing best practices for standardization, CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, documentation, and solution architecture
  • Experience conducting design walkthroughs, code reviews, and technical discussions with clients and cross-workstream teams
