EDM / ETL Developer - Capital Markets

Client: ANZ

Location: Melbourne/Sydney

Experience : 8 yrs

Contract rate : 850 per day

  • Design, develop and maintain EDM/ETL frameworks and data integration pipelines.

  • Build and optimise ETL workflows for market data, trade data, reference data and risk data.

  • Develop data extraction, transformation, validation and loading processes.

  • Integrate data across trading platforms, risk systems and downstream applications.

  • Troubleshoot data quality, performance and production issues.

  • Collaborate with Markets technology teams, business analysts and stakeholders.

  • Implement data reconciliation, exception handling and monitoring mechanisms.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with EDM/ETL frameworks.

  • Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance tuning.

  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS or equivalent platforms.

  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.

  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data mapping and data integration.

  • Experience with batch processing, scheduling and production support.

Mandatory Domain Experience - Capital Markets

  • Prior experience working with Global Markets or Investment Banking applications.

  • Understanding of financial instruments such as FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives.

  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, market data, reference data and pricing.

  • Experience with Front Office, Middle Office or Back Office data integration.

  • Familiarity with trade processing, positions, valuations and risk reporting.
