Senior Commercial Analyst - Start Next Week - Contract-to-Perm!

About the role

An exciting role with a global industry-leading FMCG organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Senior Commercial Analyst position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a 4 month fixed term contract role; however there is the genuine for extension and/or permanency given the strong growth trajectory of the business.

The responsibilities

• Customer pricing analysis and maintenance of pricing mechanisms
• Supporting contract and customer pricing reviews, including levies, cost recovery initiatives, and other pricing adjustments
• Commercial and performance reporting
• Data analysis and in generating actionable commercial business insights
• Root-cause analysis of business performance and variances
• Building and enhancing dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and/or Tableau
• Providing commercial support to the Sales function
• Build effective cross-functional relationships with your stakeholders to influence, challenge and execute initiatives; delivering business unit objectives
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with the dynamic operating model.
• Ad-hoc project work as required

The successful applicant will have

Ideally, you will be aCA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy cross-functionally partnering with senior stakeholders and feel comfortable working in a changing, enhancing and transformative environment.
