Private Relationship Manager

London

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Private Relationship Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities will include:

  1. Manage and develop a portfolio of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), providing tailored financial solutions and exceptional service.
  2. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, understanding client needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  3. Drive new business, portfolio growth, cross-selling and up-selling to achieve revenue and asset targets.
  4. Travel to MENA region 3 – 4 times a year for client meetings and business development.
  5. Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, CDD and regulatory requirements, including sanctions, PEP and high-risk activity monitoring.
  6. Maintain accurate client records and KYC documentation, conducting periodic reviews and escalating concerns as required.
  7. Collaborate with Treasury, Settlements, Operations and internal specialists to deliver seamless client service.
  8. Ensure the timely and accurate execution of client requests and transactions.
  9. Meet agreed KPIs and customer service standards, while contributing to Private Banking strategy and business development.
  10. Identify and escalate operational, financial and compliance risks and support the Bank’s wider compliance and operational resilience requirements.

The successful candidate:

  1. Minimum 5 years’ customer service experience within retail financial services or banking, with strong relationship management skills.
  2. Good working knowledge of AML, KYC and regulatory requirements, including FCA and JMLSG guidance.
  3. Arabic desirable
  4. Strong knowledge of retail banking products and related compliance requirements.
  5. Degree-level education in a relevant financial discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  6. CeMAP qualification desirable.
