Business Analyst

Introduction:

This position is intended to provide business analysis, data governance, documentation, work management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination support for PHIG related work. The Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams for PHIG-related data, analytics, reporting, infrastructure, and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Support planning, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement of PHIG-related data, analytics, reporting, business operations, and data-governance initiatives.
• Work with ODA leadership, program areas, technical teams, and grant stakeholders to define and document PHIG business needs, project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Maintain accurate project records, including requirements, work items, decisions, status reports, risks, and issues.
• Support development of materials for grant management, stakeholder communications, and performance reporting.
• Lead or support end-to-end data mapping for priority PHIG data assets and document business definitions, rules, and dependencies.
• Assist in documenting and monitoring data-quality rules, thresholds, exceptions, and resolution status.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant business analyst and/or project management experience.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Exceptional analytics, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain professional relationships.
• Preferred skills: Experience with Informatica platforms, leading workshops, supporting grant-funded initiatives, or working in public health initiatives.
