Location-         100% Remote/ Hoboken, NJ/ Charlotte, NY, San Jose, CA Dallas, TX preferred. (Initial first week onsite is mandatory Looking from preferred locations only)

Duration-        6 months

Client onboarding can take a few weeks, 10-year background check required.
Seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong OCI expertise to support and optimize Oracle Fusion and OIC environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence in enterprise production systems.

Requirements
6+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience (11g/12c/19c+), including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and operational support.
Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); Azure experience is highly desirable.
Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC), including database monitoring, performance tuning, and compensation processing support.
Strong knowledge of RMAN, disaster recovery, Data Guard, RAC, Golden Gate, and highly available production environments.
Expertise in performance tuning, database security, monitoring tools (OEM), scripting/automation, and enterprise change management processes.

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure stability, availability, and optimal performance.
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, resolve performance issues, and meet operational SLAs for mission-critical systems.
Implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies, perform recovery testing, and support disaster recovery readiness.
Apply patches and upgrades, coordinate maintenance activities, validate system stability, and ensure compliance with standards.
Monitor database health, tune performance, manage security controls, automate routine DBA tasks, and support high-availability configurations.
