Job Description:
 
The Security Guardian serves as an embedded product security expert, partnering closely with engineering and platform teams to design, build, and validate secure systems by default. This role combines hands-on technical assessments, threat modeling, and strategic architectural guidance to drive down technical security risk across cloud and distributed environments.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on security assessments at the application, platform, and system levels using threat modeling, architecture review, and vulnerability analysis to identify design flaws, cloud misconfigurations, and insecure dependencies.
  • Design and recommend concrete security controls embedded directly into system and application architectures, including secure identity and access design, cryptographic protections, network isolation, and runtime enforcement.
  • Drive down technical security risk by continuously engaging with engineering and platform teams to validate that security controls are effective in production and aligned with real-world threat models.
  • Provide technically grounded security guidance to senior leadership, translating complex security tradeoffs into clear engineering decisions.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in at least three advanced security domains (e.g., product security, smart contract/blockchain security, multi-cloud security, threat modeling, Agentic AI security, software supply-chain security).
  • Embed security into iterative delivery through DevSecOps, automated testing, secure CI/CD pipelines, and rapid, evidence-based decision-making.
  • Communicate technical security risks, design tradeoffs, and remediation strategies clearly to business and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Agentic AI security and smart contract security.
  • AWS or Azure Cloud Security certification.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
  • Prior experience collaborating with engineering teams in an embedded security engagement model.
