Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber, Senior Pega Cloud Upgrade Consultant with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of successful delivery. In this role, you will lead complex Pega Cloud version upgradeswithin a high-stakes financial services environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, optimizing performance, and leveraging specialized banking frameworks to modernise our client's core operations.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Upgrades: Lead the architecture, planning, and execution of complex Pega Cloud version upgrades from legacy versions to the latest Pega Cloud environment.
  • Framework Specialisation: Configure, customize, and optimize the Pega Smart Disputes framework to meet stringent financial compliance and operational needs.
  • Payment Integrations: Design and implement robust API connections and integration workflows for Mastercard networks, ensuring secure and efficient transaction processing.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a senior-level subject matter expert (SME), guiding cross-functional teams, diagnosing complex architectural issues, and ensuring zero-downtime migrations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with financial business units and IT leadership to align upgrade milestones with enterprise security and compliance standards.
 
 
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 8+ years of dedicated experience delivering enterprise-grade Pega solutions.
  • Upgrade Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience driving Pega Cloud version upgrades in complex environments.
  • Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience working within financial services organizations (banking, cards, or fintech).
  • Specialised Frameworks: Deep expertise in the Pega Smart Disputes framework.
  • Core Integrations: Demonstrated experience integrating Pega systems with Mastercardnetworks/APIs.
  • Certifications: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) or Senior System Architect (CSSA) is highly preferred.
  • Work Requirement: Ability to work onsite 5 days a week at the client location.
