A globally recognised strategy and technology consultancy is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to help organisations design, build and scale secure, intelligent software platforms that solve complex business challenges.

Working across a diverse range of industries, the Senior AI Solutions Engineer will partner with clients to design and deliver modern cloud native solutions that combine strong software engineering principles with the practical application of AI. Every engagement is different, requiring engineers who are comfortable working across multiple technologies, cloud environments and problem domains while selecting the most appropriate approach for each challenge.

Responsibilities for the Senior AI Solutions Engineer:

• Design and develop secure, scalable AI enabled software solutions
• Build full stack applications and cloud native platforms
• Lead technical discovery and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Design solution architectures and recommend the most appropriate technologies
• Present technical solutions and advise stakeholders on engineering approaches
• Deliver greenfield solutions and enhance existing enterprise platforms
• Build reusable components and engineering patterns
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
• Work across multiple clients, industries and technology environments

Essential Skills for the Senior AI Solutions Engineer:

The successful Senior AI Solutions Engineer will demonstrate experience in several of the following areas:

• Strong full stack software engineering experience
• Experience building secure, scalable cloud native applications
• Practical experience delivering AI enabled software solutions
• Strong software architecture and engineering fundamentals
• Ability to evaluate and justify different technical approaches
• Experience working across multiple languages, frameworks and cloud platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience contributing to discovery, solution design and architecture
• Adaptable with the ability to work across different industries and technologies

Desirable Skills for the Senior AI Solutions Engineer:

• Consultancy or client facing delivery experience.
• Greenfield product or platform development.
• Experience designing AI powered applications using modern AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud native architectures, distributed systems and API first development.
• Technical leadership, mentoring or leading small engineering teams.
• Experience working within regulated industries or enterprise environments.
