This employer is hiring for a skilled individual to contribute to critical energy infrastructure projects. You'll play a vital role in modernizing and constructing substations, directly impacting the successful transition to renewable energy sources. The Role

• Constructing steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV).
• Assembling high and medium voltage equipment and electrical installations.
• Installing components such as high-voltage clamps, support insulators, and carrying out pipe and cable assembly, including winching.
• Maintaining and updating project documentation by marking revisions.
• Contributing to the achievement of climate protection goals through your work.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship in a metalworking trade (e.g., Metalworker, Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Plant Mechanic) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in metalworking, ideally within construction, mechanical engineering, energy, or utility sectors.
• Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to commute to job sites with your own vehicle.
• Readiness for regular on-site assignments (Monday-Friday) across Southwestern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a proactive, self-motivated work attitude.
