Title: Project Manager – Marketing

Location: Burbank, CA 91502

Duration: 12 Months Contract 

Job Description:

In this corporate technology role, the Project Manager drives end-to-end delivery of complex, high impact
initiatives, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes that support client innovative, global storytelling businesses. The role matters because it ensures technology solutions are delivered effectively on time and on budget, requiring a proficient, effective problem-solver who can work independently, mentor others, and communicate clearly across technical and business audiences.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closeout, ensuring
    scope, timelines, risks, and quality are effectively controlled.
  • Drive execution and delivery of enterprise technology projects, maintaining a clear understanding of vision, objectives, scale, expected outcomes, business value, and resource needs.
  • Build and maintain master project schedules and communication plans across multiple teams, proactively
    scheduling key milestones and deliverables.
  • Establish and support governance practices, project financial forecasts, and budget tracking, including
    analysis of financial impacts and monitoring expenditures.
  • Facilitate effective project meetings and workshops, driving commitments, accountability, and clear outcomes for cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and international teams, harmonizing timelines and dependencies and escalating risks or blockers as needed.
  • Prepare and present status reports and data visualizations that clearly communicate project health, KPIs, risks, issues, accomplishments, and next steps to technical and non-technical leaders.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models as appropriate, supporting integrated systems and software development lifecycles and using modern work management tools such as Jira, Confluence,
    Smartsheet, MS Project, and collaboration platforms.
  • Identify issues, risks, and gaps in accountability, propose solutions, and lead or contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
  • Support and occasionally lead small projects or workstreams, acting as a resource and informal mentor
    for colleagues with less experience while working with minimal guidance.
  • Skilled project management in technology environments, with proficiency in managing large-scale or
    enterprise-level initiatives and solving complex problems.
  • Proficiency with modern project and program management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, PPM, Clarity,
    Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Teams) and Agile ceremonies and practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, technical integration, and solution architecture
    for software, platform, infrastructure, or cloud projects.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial and project
    data and offer new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, prioritize effectively, and act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a results-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative approach.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor''s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related project management experience in technology or technical project environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master or in leading Agile software or product development teams applying Scrum principles and practices.
  • Professional certifications such as PMI Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, or platform-
    specific credentials (e.g., Appian, ServiceNow).
  • Master''s degree in a related field
