Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Rutherford, NJ. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments. This role requires strong experience in DevOps practices, OpenShift, and microservices-based architectures, along with solid Java knowledge to support application deployments and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms
• Collaborate with development teams to support Java-based microservices deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, and reliability
• Support release management, version control, and environment configurations
• Integrate testing frameworks and ensure smooth deployment cycles
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments

Required Qualifications (Mandatory Skills):

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Proven experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Java applications and deployment pipelines
• Experience working with Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, or similar)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization best practices
• Experience in banking or enterprise environments
• Understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments
