Site Reliability Engineer I

Mastercard seeks a Site Reliability Engineer I to support reliable, scalable software platforms in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. In this entry-level role, you will help design, automate, and monitor infrastructure and applications, ensuring performance, availability, and security. You'll work closely with engineering teams to build CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and respond to incidents using modern SRE best practices. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure for Mastercard platforms
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents to ensure high availability and uptime
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response using modern Dev
• Ops/SRE tools
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve application reliability and performance
• Contribute to on-call rotation and resolve production issues with root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code configurations
• Implement security, compliance, and backup practices across cloud and on-prem environments
